Oregon
has several types of incentives to help ease the cost of
installing a new solar hot water system. Keep in mind that
incentives are subject to change from time to time and
should be verified with local, state and federal offices.
In addition, you should contact your tax advisor for
applicability of incentives and credits. |
Residential:
Energy Trust of Oregon Incentives

Pacific Power & PGE - $0.40/kWh*

$0.30/kWh

Up to $1,500 based on rated annual energy savings
Tax Credits

State - $0.60/kWh saved, up to $1,500

Federal - 30% of installed cost up to

- Up to 30% of installed system cost
- Not available for pool heating
- Full amount can be claimed in the first
year
